A dedicated StrataMail deployment is built on a dedicated Proxmox server, tailored specifically for your mail volume, domain count, retention requirements, and security posture. There is no one-size-fits-all configuration — every dedicated build is scoped and priced individually.
What a Dedicated StrataMail Build Is
Unlike the shared reseller platform, a dedicated StrataMail deployment gives you a full Proxmox server provisioned exclusively for your email infrastructure. The StrataMail stack — MX backup spooling, shadow mailbox storage, and Roundcube webmail — runs on hardware that belongs to you alone. No shared queues, no shared storage pools, no contention with other resellers.
Physical dedicated hardware in our Knoxville datacenter, provisioned exclusively for your StrataMail stack. CPU, RAM, and storage are yours alone — no noisy neighbors.
MX backup spooling, shadow mailbox delivery, and Roundcube webmail portal deployed and tested against your domain(s) before handoff.
Inbound filtering via SpamWeeder Premium is included in the dedicated build. Mail is filtered before it hits the spooler.
Storage is allocated to your actual mailbox count and retention policy — not a pooled limit shared across other customers. 30-day retention is standard; longer is configurable.
Admin panel and Roundcube webmail branded with your or your customer's identity. Outage alerts sent from your domain.
Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Exchange on-premises, cPanel, Zimbra, Postfix — if it receives SMTP, it works with StrataMail.

- Total mailbox count across all domains you need to protect
- Number of domains — and whether they are all under one organization or multiple customers
- Primary mail platform — Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Exchange, cPanel, or other
- Average daily mail volume (if known) — messages per day or per hour
- Retention requirements — 30 days is standard; compliance environments sometimes need longer

Every dedicated StrataMail build runs on our Proxmox VE platform — the same infrastructure powering our dedicated server and colocation services. Proxmox gives us flexible VM and container allocation, live migration capability, and snapshot-based backup support. Your StrataMail stack runs as an isolated VM with dedicated CPU, RAM, and storage allocation.
